PRODUCT: MOT - Type 1 - Sub-base PRODUCT SIZE: 0-40mm PACK SIZE: Bulk Bag approx. 850kg - Handy Bag approx. 25kg - Loose Loads. DESCRIPTION: This primary aggregate is used in the construction industry as a subbase for concrete slabs, driveways and paths. This semi permeable MOT Type 1 provides a solid base that once compacted, allows for ground heave. Having a suitable MOT Type 1 base installed prevents cracking of further materials placed upon the sub-base. MOT Type 1 Subbase is produced to a standard accepted by the Ministry of Transport, hence the name MOT, and is used on major highways around the country. Please note, our MOT Type 1 is a primary product, not recycled, and as such this is classed as a clean product without contamination of metals or soil. MOT Type 1 is available for collection from our yard or for local *delivery. Available in handy bags, bulk bags or small tipped loose loads (up to 1.75 ton).
